Trust Is Not Given
Trust is not a KPI. It’s not a line on your strategy slide. It’s the feeling someone has when they know you’ll back them, even when it’s messy. When they know you’ll give them space to rise and permission to fail. In every team I’ve led, trust has been the true multiplier. Not systems. Not tools. Not performance metrics.
Trust. Without it, you can have talent but no cohesion. With it, you create velocity. You don’t demand trust. You earn it by being consistent, by being human, and by showing up when it matters.
What are you doing today that makes your team feel safe to be their best?
