ABOUT GIACOMO
I am an Italian and American business leader, founder and strategic advisor who has spent more than twenty years building and transforming businesses between Europe and the United States.
My career has crossed industries, markets and roles, but the objective has remained consistent: to turn ambition into organizations, brands and ventures capable of creating lasting value.
A career built between two worlds.
I began my career in Italy and later moved to the United States, where I learned that entering a new market requires far more than exporting a successful product or replicating a familiar business model.
It requires cultural interpretation, commercial discipline and leadership close enough to the market to understand what customers, teams and partners truly need.
Over the years, I have built U.S. businesses from the ground up, led cross-functional organizations and helped European companies translate their strengths into relevance for American customers. I have worked across strategy, sales, marketing, innovation and operations, often during moments of expansion, transition or reinvention.
Those experiences shaped how I lead today: with curiosity, directness, empathy and a strong bias toward execution.
From executive leadership to an entrepreneurial platform.
After years in senior executive roles, I chose to build a more entrepreneurial life around the work I find most meaningful.
Today, I operate across several connected areas: building ventures, advising founders and ownership groups, supporting companies through transformation and developing ideas about leadership, market entry and long-term value creation.
SPLEATS reflects my belief that exceptional food producers deserve a more intelligent path into the United States. Arenaria Interiors expresses a lifelong interest in homes, objects and the environments that shape how people live.
They may appear to belong to different worlds, but both are grounded in the same conviction: thoughtful choices, strong standards and disciplined execution can improve everyday life.
This next chapter brings those experiences together, allowing me to contribute not only as an advisor but as a builder, partner and long-term steward of value.

I believe a successful life should not be measured only through titles or financial outcomes. It should also be measured through the people we help grow, the environments we improve and the freedom we create to live meaningfully.
That belief now guides the businesses I build, the leaders I support and the projects I choose to pursue.
